Remarks & Notes
The 1942 Baldwin-built oil-fired Frisco 4-8-4 No. 4501 is seen in this view from the rear of a Pullman car during our walking tour of the yard at the Museum of the American Railroad. One of three oil-burners of the class, it's painted dark blue and white with red letters for pulling the "Meteor" passenger train from Oklahoma City via Tulsa to St. Louis.
