A pair of WNYP Alco's have started their journey west from Hornell to Olean with one of Amtrak's Avelia trainsets in tow from the Alstom Facility that is bound for storage. The train is climbing out of the Canisteo River Valley and passes by the old approach signal at Almond Lake, New York.
New York state has the largest number of ALCO diesel locomotives working in everyday service. Here are some of them. Soon I hope to chronicle all of them.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
