| The leaves are gone but the EMD's aren't -- for now. 13,000 horsepower sourced from three SD40-types and a solo C40-8 slug up Proctor Hill and around Bachelor's Curve with a load of Minntac limestone on the drawbars. Fall is definitely past peak in the Minnesota Northwoods and the clock is ticking on the EMD's hauling ore up here; as 50 Dash 9 DC-to-AC rebuilds are scheduled to be here this Spring. |
