Conway Scenic used 470 club's matched set of Boston & Maine F7s on the club's annual charter through Crawford Notch to Fabyans. The 1949 F7As looked fantastic as they lead the train, both units have recently been painted by 470 club volunteers. The train is seen on the former Maine Central Mountain Subdivision crossing the famous Willey Brook Bridge on one of several run-bys at this location.
Beautiful mountain scenery has made this small state a draw for rail buffs to ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway and the Conway Scenic, among others.
