Remarks & Notes
The newest addition to WMSR’s fleet is WMSR/NIWX 558, a former Norfolk Southern B32-8, seen here arriving Frostburg, running LHF, with the regularly-scheduled Frostburg Flyer. The loco is leased from Northern Illinois & Wisconsin Railway (NIWX Corporation), and was painted in WMSR’s adaptation of WM’s Fireball scheme at the company’s shops in Ridgeley, WV. Note the “F” on the frame—designating the long hood end as “front”.
