Remarks & Notes
Chicago and Northwestern GP7 1526 and slug BU-1 switching Itasca Yard in Superior June 1977. The 1526 was built in March 1951 and retired in June 1985. The BU-1 slug was built by EMC as a model SW in January 1937 and converted to a slug in October 1956, the first slug built by the CNW. This power set spent most of the 70s working in Superior and was also used on the Ashland Local out of Spooner on the weekends. D.R. McCulloch Photo from my Collection.
