Remarks & Notes
Former New Haven RS-3 529 leads an afternoon Naugatuck Railroad excursion south across the Naugatuck River in Waterbury, CT. NH 529 was built by Alco in August 1950. It is claimed to be the first former New Haven diesel to be preserved, having been purchased from Amtrak by the Railroad Museum of New England in September 1985.
