A classic sentinel of old Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, this old Color Position Light Dwarf Signal still stands guard over the switch from an industrial spur onto the Indiana & Ohio Railway's Midland Subdivision near the junction with CSX at NA Tower Interlocking in St. Bernard, Ohio, as the sun sets on the Ohio Valley on April 16, 2020. While the mainline signals at NA Tower, seen in the background here, have been replaced twice since the end of the Chessie System era, this signal is a survivor, still holding it's post into another decade.
My photos that I have taken on lines operated the Indiana & Ohio and it's affiliate operations, including the Central Railroad of Indiana (CIND), and the Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern Railroad (CF&E).
