A rainy day in Vancouver greets the arrival of The Canadian along the waterfront of the city. At this time CP was pretty frugal about train size. Winter consists were only 7 cars, and this June train, 8. Class unit 1400, an FP7 and an FP9 handle the train moments away from the western terminus.
