Remarks & Notes
Working southbound on the Indiana Harbor Belt main line, a Belt Railway of Chicago freight is about to rattle across the Santa Fe main line diamonds at McCook, Illinois, on September 6, 1986. A pair of BRC Alco C-424s power the train past the dusty quarry tracks—Nos. 605 and 603.
