Remarks & Notes

Amtrak E60CP 974 speeds north through North Elizabeth, NJ, with a Boston-bound train out of Washington. On the tail end is a Budd SPV-2000 that will be cut off at New Haven to comprise the train's Springfield connection. Amtrak had hoped to run the SPVs in through service in this manner but the experiment was short lived.
