The freshly restored 1927 Whitcomb 25T sits outside the United Historical Railway shops in Boonton, NJ. The locomotive was donated to the Liberty Historic Railway by the Public Service Electrical & Gas Company. At the time of the donation in 2016, the locomotive was in rough shape after working many years at the Clifton, NJ plant. 15 months, 2,000 work hours and $50,000 later the locomotive looks as good as new.
