A westbound Canadian Pacific coal train passes then tie plant along the Thompson River just east of Ashcroft, British Columbia, on a hot July 15, 2014. Up front is a more unusual set of power (for unit coal trains) consisting of GE AC4400CW No. 8600 and EMD SD30C-ECO No. 5018.
