Within a couple days of Penn Central's takeover of the New Haven, PC began running GG1s in former NH electric territory between Penn Station and New Haven, CT. Two generations of electrics met as GG1 4882 introduced itself to NH EP-5 371 in the New Haven Motor Storage service area during the first week of 1969.
