The Kansas City bound National Limited is crossing a barren early spring Lancaster County landscape on its way to Harrisburg for an engine change to diesels. 33-year old No. 917 (PRR 4919, Altoona-Westinghouse, 7-1942) still survives at the Roanoke VA Museum of Transportation.
