Remarks & Notes
Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad’s “President’s Train” crosses the High Bridge at mile 471.23 south (east) of Tacoma, Colorado, on August 26, 2006. The 4-car special is powered by former Rio Grande K-28 mikado No. 473 decked out in 1950s movie paint, complete with an old-fashion box headlight and diamond stack, for the railroad’s annual Railfest celebration.
