OH BOTH! That is what people were yelling as both SP 4449 and UP 8444 showed up at the same time at Tunnel #1 on Cajon Pass. We could see the smoke plume from SP 4449 as it came around the corner and entered the cut above the tunnel. We had no idea where UP 8444 was until it popped out of the tunnel. A great race and show, but soon SP 4449 had to stop due to an overheated bearing. Yes, the sound was amazing!
