The Katy had a number of Baldwin switchers on the roster right up to the end that were re-engined with EMD prime movers in the early '60's. This DS4-4-1000 was built by Baldwin in 1946. Everything in this view is now gone, as the MKT downtown Dallas Yard property was sold by UP and became the Victory Park development, which includes the American Airlines Center arena.
