| On a stormy summer afternoon, the sound of a loaded coal train bounces off the walls of Little Gore Canyon. This heavy train is working its way up the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. Soon the tracks will flatten out around Kremmling, but that won't be the end of the trek. There is still another 2,000 feet of vertical climb before topping out in the Moffat Tunnel. |
