Remarks & Notes

A Pennsy 4-4-2 and a Chessie U30B are unlikely stablemates in this scene- the occasion being the 125th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address. The PRR 7002 traveled from Strasburg the previous day with five cars in tow, and this day will see a reenactment of Lincoln riding a steam train from Hanover to Gettysburg over the old Western Maryland. Although the locomotive and cars were early 20th century vintage, it was a nice gesture, unfortunately not repeated in 2013 for the 150th anniversary.
