Three AC models elephant style. Among Class I's, CN was the last holdout on buying AC power, having not bought its first AC traction locomotive until placing an order for GE ES44AC's in 2013. Since then CN has added three AC locomotive models to its roster, and one of each is featured here at the head end, elephant style. They are ex-EMD demo SD70ACe CN 8100, GE ES44AC CN 2915 and GE ET44AC. 3014. Operating mid-train on this very long stack train (624 axles) is another ET44AC; CN 3029. The train is westbound on CN's Montreal sub as it splits highway 20 in two during some nice evening light.
