Trackwork has held up this single-G and its "TrucTrain," but the crew has gotten clearance from the operator at Block Station E-Town and is re-boarding to head east. Note the old stone freight elevator on right- it's still there (but non-functional.) This scene is totally dominated today by high-level platforms, built during restoration of the station by Amtrak in 2009. No. 4838 was built by Baldwin/PRR/Westinghouse in July, 1935, 41 years prior to the date on this 39-year old Ektachrome slide.
