| A combination of fresh snow, sunny skies, relatively mild weather (lower 40s) and a warbonnet in the lead ensured that local railfans would be out to catch K140. This loaded crude oil train is headed for Philadelphia and was closely monitored throughout its journey from the River Sub to the Lehigh Line and Trenton Sub on this day. Two fans can be seen through the tree branches getting their shots from the aptly named Bridge Street overpass. The storage tracks at the west end of Manville Yard are completely encrusted with snow and ice, with only the outline of the rails visible. |
