Remarks & Notes 
On its last-ever run this far north, the Alaska Railroad Palmer Turn runs light up the 10 mph Palmer Branch enroute to JD Steel, which was located at the end of the in-service track at Palmer Airport, to fetch two gondolas. Once these gons were removed, the track from here to the airport was never used again, and was abandoned less than a year later.
