NC&StL F7A-B #831 on train the 'Dixie Flyer' at Whiteside, Tennessee on August 2, 1954. After nearly 60 years of control, parent Louisville & Nashville merged the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway on August 30, 1957. Photographer unknown, 35mm slide taken from my collection.
