It's a hot summer's day in the Western Cape as evidenced by the open door in the front of the locomotive. 18E 693 hauls the weed-killing train train (travelling at the required fixed 30km/h) up the bank from Muldersvlei Junction on the Cape mainline. The Simonsberg provides an impressive backdrop
