| Train 422 continues its journey toward Hoboken Terminal after taking the siding to meet train 417 at Murray Hill Station. NJ Transit has been assigning sets of ALP-45DPs and single-level Comet coaches to this line. These units have proven useful since they are able to operate quietly in electric mode on the Gladstone Line but switch to diesel mode when entering Hoboken Terminal. The terminal area has been without overhead catenary power since "Superstorm Sandy" struck the area in late October. |
