Remarks & Notes |
Wolfboro railroad's 78 mile Central Division operation is about 6 weeks old. It consists off former B&M trackage to Laconia and Lincoln NH, leased from the state of New Hampshire. The train led by former MEC 557, waits at the Concord Yard office for paperwork plus "landing" and pick up instructions. Due to problems with Lincoln Paper mill plus washouts the operation would end in 1977. The financial impact would lead to closing the steam operation after the 1978 season
