The Atlantic Limited is making a flag stop at Magog. Order board shows no train orders with an open block. A 45 degree yellow aspect would indicate form 19 orders which could be scooped on the fly. A horizontal order board would indicate form 31 orders. This signal would compel the train crew to stop the train and come inside the operator’s office to sign for orders. The green and white flag is an suggestion for #41 to stop for passengers. At night a green and white kerosene lantern is the flag stop signal. Even though the operator at this station used a phone for train operations he had to telegraph to send and receive CPR telegrams.
