Remarks & Notes 
In May of 1988 Fort Knox hosted what was called Gold Vault Days which consisted of several locomotives from various local railroads as well as model railroad displays. On display was one of their own and seldom photographed Fairbanks Morse H-12-44.Now retired the locomotive is now owned by the Bluegrass Railway Museum in Lexinton Ky.
