Remarks & Notes
Santa Fe’s famous warbonnet perhaps looked best on an Alco PA, as Mail Train 4 arrived Kansas City Union Depot with PA 74, Oct. 30, 1966. An ATS (Automatic Train Stop) shoe is on the 3rd axle which enabled operating at 90-mph speed on the AT&SF.
