Saved from the wrecking ball years ago, the Tacoma Union Station still stands watch over trains, trains that never will again stop at it's doors. It's function now, as seen by the reasonably well done, but obviously tacked on modern addition, is to stand watch over justice, as a Federal Court House. In the not too distant future (sometime in the summer of 2013), you will be able to get a glimpse of the Station in all it's glory, but scaled down to HO size, when the model is installed (after over 12 years of work) in the PSMRE layout (PSMRE Website) , located adjacent to the original station, in the Washington State History Museum. A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
