I hate when they ruin historic buildings by sticking a "modern addition" on.

It's unfortunate that the Station was "modified" in this manner. But it was the key to saving the building. With only cosmetic changes, the interior of the main waiting room is largely unchanged. The change to a Federal Courthouse, is confined largely to the addition.

I love train pictures, and next to those would come pictures of Stations, Depots, Watch Towers, and rail yards. (Especially ones that have roundhouses) I enjoy seeing pictures of any of those when they've been saved for History. Thank you for sharing your wonderful picture Mr. Carter.
