| A brand spanking new Siemens S70 LRV is parked at Midvale, awaiting delivery to the Utah Transit Authority. UTA is receiving more than 70 new LRVs for expanded service along three new routes in the Salt Lake Valley. Savage Bingham & Garfield will deliver this car to the UTA railhead overnight for unloading at a site in South Jordan. My 2001 VW Beetle is posed to give a size (and color!) comparison. In the past nine years, this trusty old V-Dub has faithfully taken me on more than 155,000 miles of train chasing throughout the Beehive State. |
