Different sized electric locos at Qitaihe in 2002. I believe the larger loco, left, is a Skoda and the other is built by LEW in East Germany. Anyone know for sure?

QJ 2-10-2 No 6193 bursts out of a tunnel soon after passing over the famous Singing Sands Viaduct with a coal train.

QJ No 6286, unusually with a white painted smokebox, prepares to load it`s train at Daliuta mine. It must keep the speed to around half mph to load the wagons on the move.

5 feet 6 inch gauge MLW no 6303 has to wait for track work to finish before it can leave the loco shed at Khulna. Note the bare feet in the track gang. The loco was built in Montreal in 1981

2 tiny electric locos are at work at Fuli mine, Hegang, with various loads including wooden pit props.

3 East German built LEW BoBo locos stand outside the loco shed at Pingzhuang. These are part of a large fleet of similar locos that work the huge open cast colliery at Pingzhuang.
