Formerly WE 7377, WE 6384 was built in March 1975 as MP 3198. 38 years later it is in the process of being rebuilt at the W&LE Brewster Locomotive Shop.
One of the 'Final Four' is in charge of today's C28 on its way to deliver cars to Island Ave Yard. Only four Conrail painted locomotives remain on the active NS roster.

AVR-1 prepares to depart Island Ave Yard after exchanging trains with NS C28. Two special visitors, one with 'Wheeling Grande' paint, are in todays consist. The units are on loan from the W&LE.
C28 is rolling through CP-BELL with 60 cars for the AVR at Island Ave Yard. The train is about pass under the ramp that takes the Mon Line up to the OC Bridge and across the Ohio River.
