Canac/Savage purchased the GP9 from Red Rock, ON (idled Norampac mill), it is in transit to NRE Capreol to be painted in the Savage scheme.

The triple set brings 7 loads of lumber to Thunder Bay North. The sawmill closed during the recession of 2008 and has since been demolished.
Leased ONT 1600 switches out paper cars in the yard in a spring blizzard. The locomotive was later sold to Diesel Electric Services and repainted, the mill closed for good 12-2014.
