The Union Pacific did a test run of the 4014 Big Boy engine. The team ran backwards between Cheyenne and Speer, Wyoming, then reversed direction letting 4014 lead the way home.

UP 7608 (ES44AC) leads a container train east towards Cheyenne, one of many such trains throughout the day moving merchandise.

Thanks to lucky timing a BNSF freight heading south to Denver passes over a Union Pacific westbound train leaving the Cheyenne Yard at dawn.

UP 4014 was given a test run today by running backwards from Cheyenne to Speer, Wyoming, and then running forward back to the massive Yard in Cheyenne.
