A trip with my parents to visit relatives in Boston afforded the opportunity to slip away and get a few shots at North Station. I was just out of high school.

Two Orange Line trains meet while crossing the Mystic River. Boston lies a few miles to the right, points North to the left. The bridge in the background carries commuter rail to Rockport.
The Union Railroad turn gets pulled into the Boston Freight Terminal by a trusty old Fairbanks Morse road switcher in the second of three paint schemes this unit would wear.
