Amtrak 19, the Crescent rolls into the Amtrak depot in Meridian around 30min. late just as the sun popped out from behind the clouds.

Having been over a year since I had caught a train coming through Vicksburg, I decided to cross a few lanes of traffic to get this shot. Luckily, it was not a very busy morning!

I was not alive the last time a passenger train like this ran on this line between Gulfport and Hattiesburg. What a treat it was to catch this train in good light!
