Kings Cross train heads south from Durham

A pair of metro cars dash across one of the 7 bridges which cross the river Tyne and make their way to the next stop which is Newcastle Central station.

After a 40 minute wait in the station Oliver Cromwell leaves for the Blyth and Tyne line, a line not usually used by passenger trains.

The fire is dropped from locomotive Renishaw after a day working the scheduled services.
