Island Avenue is clogged!

The Island Avenue turn smokes out of Schenley Tunnel on a humid, miserable Sunday afternoon.

A pair of "Cheese Head" SD45's lead CSX eastbound Q216 past the Pittsburgh skyline.

An empty coke train starts up the ramp to the Mon Line's OC Bridge. The lower track in the foreground is the Fort Wayne Line.

An intermodal train heads up the ramp to the OC Bridge, just east of CP BELL. The two inner tracks are part of the Mon Line while the four outer tracks make up the Fort Wayne Line.

Empty trash train 64J rolls east into Pittsburgh on its way to pick up another load of New Jersey's finest export.

The Duquesne Incline which opened in 1877 still operates everyday. From the top you can see some of Pittsburghs many bridges.

Q352 has just crossed the Allegheny River Bridge as it was heading east on the former B&O P&W Subdivision. Soon it would pass the Amtrak Connection at Field and then pass under the NS Pittsburgh ... (more)

Trailer Train R135 passes under the old B&O signal bridge at Highland as it heads up the P&W Subdivision. This ex-B&O line is now part of the Allegheny Valley Railroad.
