The DRGW 315 hauls a small freight up to Cumbres Pass. It was great seeing this little engine work the grade.

D&RGW 315, 2-8-0, (BLW 14352 / 1895), D&RGW class C-18, originally Florence & Cripple Creek RR 3, "Elkton," powering a special freight train on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.

This was a special plow train to test Rotary OM, which had just been rebuilt by the C&TS shops. OM was built in 1889 by Cooke Locomotive & Machine Works.
