The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is always an enjoyable railfan trip. Class K-36 #488 is on a yard move with one passenger car at the Chama yard.

A roundhouse laborer cleans off accumulated grease and dirt from the running gear of Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad K-37 No. 497 at Chama, New Mexico, on the evening of May 24, 1999.

The 463 sits over the ash pit after dropping its fire. The loco was used on a Jim Trowbridge special that day. The ash pit has since been replaced.
