Remarks & Notes
In a dispatching move that didn't quite make sense, the California Zephyr 5 train meets the California Zephyr 6 train, but since a UP oil train occupied the siding at Rocky, Colorado, the 5 train had to pull up to the rear of the oil train on the siding to let the 6 train pass and go to Denver. Then the 5 train had to back down out of the siding and take the main track past the oil can train and head west.
