A wreck on the Southern Pacific in Arizona has necessitated some of their hotter trains to detour on the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe in order to reach southern California. SP SD45R 7498 (ex-SP SD45 8928), SP GP40-2 7651, Burlington Northern GP40 3002 (ex-CB&Q 172) and BN GP30 2218 (ex-CB&Q 941) lead a piggyback train past the Santa Fe station in San Bernardino as ATSF SD40-2 5074 heads east toward Cajon Pass.
