The crew on this westbound transfer, hauling cars from the Southern Pacific's Colton Yard to the then-still-fairly-new West Colton Yard, look pretty relaxed as they wait for a Santa Fe westbound to cross the diamonds in between the two yards, which are only four miles apart. SP C630 3148 was built in March 1966 as SP 7807. (Colton, California – November 25, 1973)
