Growing up in Georgia and Alabama, I spent a lot of time around rivers like the Chattahoochee, Oconee, Coosa and Tallapoosa. Saw them flood lots of times. None of that prepared me for the Mississippi at flood stage. It is scary. Wonder if the guys aboard BN 2126 are thinking about the Big Muddy roaring along just a few yards away, or if they have complete trust in that big concrete flood wall.
