Remarks & Notes
It's a cold late winter morning in downtown Salt Lake City. The sun has not even risen above the peaks of the Wasatch Range to the east. The D&RGW train #18 is ready to leave the depot on it's day long trip east to Denver. This is the last privately operated, intercity passenger train in the United States and I was privileged to ride it several times. Scanned from a color print.
