| Portrait of the chinese JS class 2-8-2 steamlocomotive # 8167 at Sandaoling. 1916 of this type were built in three series by different builders: JS # 5001 to 6135 from 1957 to 1965, # 6201 to 6558 from 1981 to 1986 and # 8001 to 8423 from 1986 to 1988. The # 8167 was probably built in 1987 and is about 30 years in service now. Axle load is 15,5 ton, maximum velocity 85 km/h and power about 2270 HP. |
